Dr. Josh Yanoviak, DMD

Welcome!  I’m Dr. Josh and I attribute a lot of my love for dentistry to my mentor while growing up: my orthodontist. Not only did he help me have confidence in my smile, but he also ignited my passion for dentistry and my desire to serve in the United States Air Force.

My academic journey started at Susquehanna University with a bachelor’s in chemistry and a minor in piano performance. I furthered my education at Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, receiving a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After dental school I completed a residency in Advanced Education General Dentistry at Eglin AFB Hospital. 

I served in the United States Air Force as an active duty dentist for a number of years,  at which point I transitioned to private practice and continued my military service with the Air Force Reserves. My wife and I made Indian River County our home when I was attached to what is now called Patrick Space Force Base.

Beyond routine oral care, my primary focus revolves around handling comprehensive dental cases. This includes smile makeovers, full mouth reconstructions, and modern solutions like implant-fixed or supported prostheses. The gratification I receive from restoring not just a patient’s smile, but also their confidence and functionality, is profound.

Outside of the office, my wife Brittney and I enjoy spending time with our son, family and friends. We have two rescue dogs named Kota and Kimber. Kota is a “bordador” (border collie/labrador mix) and Kimber is a whippet mix. All of us enjoy being active outdoors and enjoy all that Indian River County has to offer. 

Dentistry, for me, goes beyond oral care. It’s about providing the highest standard of care with the most innovative technology and customizing it to each individual patient’s needs.
